  1. Sorry about being so late to get to this episode. I’m gonna have to disagree with all the of you about the prince of Persia movie. It was a fine and entertaining movie, but a bad prince of Persia movie. They changed too much of the Prince’s back story. In the games, the Prince is arrogant as the only soon and heir to the throne. He over the course of the the game has to learn that he cannot always succeed and needs to be able to trust others. In the movie, he is an orphan and adopted son with two older brothers who are the actual heirs to the throne. This fundamentally changes the character, his motivations, and prevents a second or third movie being made to match those games.

So much more that I would like to say, but I’ll just end by saying again “entertaining movie, but bad prince of Persia movie”

  2. This is why I should not post comments from my phone. Two of those “the” should in fact be “three” and the one “soon” should be “son”. I hate my phone.

  3. That’s actually a really good point, but I don’t think more movies are really necessary anyways. I believe I’ve expressed my views on movies based on games that are already epic stories in themselves. I really don’t think it contributes anything to the genre.

  4. I’ll agree that the trilogy of games are still amazing with or without any movie, but I remember being excited for this movie for multiple reasons. I always felt that this trilogy of games translated into a movie better than most games and I thought it had the potential to raise the standard expected of video game movies if done correctly, similar to what Iron Man and the Christopher Nolan Batman movies had done for comic book movies around the same time.
